FULL TIME POSITION - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

- Maintain daily census (data entry of admits/discharges) and sending reports over to billing company
- Maintain payer sources in Sigma Care
- Send Pharmacy payer source information and other billing information to Health Care Providers
- Send letter to designated representative to explain insurance.
- Pre-Screen/Insurance Verifications and obtaining Pre-Authorizations for HMO
- Verifying Medicare Days with other SNF’s. Attend Medicare meetings.
- Assist Resident Finance Coordinator in obtaining documents for Medicaid recertification’s when due and conversions from community to NH Medicaid and follow up with Dept. of Social Service case
- Direct Deposit forms for Social Security/Pension Income
- Daily Deposits and Credit Card Processing. Scanning over reports to billing company and VP of Finance.
- Maintain Operating Petty Cash and Monthly Reconciliation. Send out Quarterly Resident Statement
- Issue and Post to Klein Resident Hand Checks for Beauty Parlor and Residents Petty Cash. Send over new bills or requests to cut checks for discharge residents to corporate office. Assist Families with Verizon Life Line when needed.
- Adhere to all facility and department policies and procedures.
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or related financials services for patients, and Experience with insurance verifications.
- Job Knowledge/Requirements: Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible. Exemplary customer service skills. Competent computer skills with knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
