Property Management company is in need of a Resident Service Coordinator. This is a full-time position that REQUIRES a background in residential property management. The hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Report directly to the Resident Service Manager.
Must have excellent customer service via phone and in-person. Must have a pleasant demeanor, possess strong people skills and the ability to work well with others.
The Resident Service Coordinator performs a variety of property management and administrative functions.
First point of contact to, residents and vendors.
Conduct business in a manner that retains residents by performing the general duties and specific duties, as well as any other duties assigned.
Responsible for various duties relating to maintaining accurate and current tenant accounts, including data entry, generating work orders, and timely communication with appropriate individuals or entities regarding, notices, the status of work order completion, and related information.
Proficient and comfortable with all aspects of the home maintenance process; provide meaningful and relevant information to residents by phone or email;
Responsible for vendor and resident follow-up, call-backs, resolving and rescheduling pending work orders, when appropriate.
Responsible for maintaining accurate resident accounts and unit files, to include data entry in computers and updating tenant information and unit information.
Responsible for reviewing work orders for accuracy, preparing and inputting resident/vendor/employee feedback and information to ensure timely work order completion and calculation.
Diplomatically handle and diffuse sensitive, difficult and disruptive situations that may arise while contending with a significantly high volume of calls, email and in-office contact.
General customer service duties to include but not limited to answering telephones, assisting with maintenance processes and maintenance work order scheduling, answering questions, and assisting tenants and vendors.
General administrative duties to include but not limited to filing, reproducing copies, and updating information.
Accounts payables/receivables process invoices from other departments using spend management and PO's. Ensuring all monthly service contract invoices are received and processed, all amex payment receipts are sent to corporate.
Assist with the lease renewal process by packaging, follow up on renewal dates
Delivering notices, researching specific problems, and reviewing tenant accounts for errors or omissions.
Maintain work areas in a safe, clean and organized condition.
Assist other company departments as scheduled or requested.
Maintain office supply inventory.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor and/or Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess excellent computer software skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and web-based programs.
The Resident Service Coordinator must possess the capability to work independently, under the direct supervisor and/or Management.
Computer literacy required- including Experience Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook a must.
Communication proficiency (both oral and written).
Must be detailed oriented, able to prioritize, and have exceptional organizational skills. Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think your own and demonstrate resourcefulness/initiative is highly desirable.
Prior experience with rental management software a plus (Onesite).
High school diploma or equivalent, college degree or similar work experience (3 years or more relative office experience) preferable.
Salary will commensurate with experience!

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
