Position Summary: Avia is currently looking for an experienced Resident Care Director to join our team. AVIA is located across from Arlington Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Avia and Arlington Court share the unique campus in a quiet residential neighborhood. AVIA Senior Living Center is a beautiful, boutique Independent Living facility marketed to seniors. Avia has 18 plush, luxury apartments and is proud to have been named a winner of A Place For Mom, Inc.’s, Senioradvisor.com Best of award. The award places winners in the top one percent of senior care providers nationwide.
.Job Duties:
- Marketing, open houses, contract renewals, and family meetings
- Manage the daily operations of the facility and of all residents within the community
- Managing and taking part in resident activities and outings.
- Foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the community
- Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.- Must enjoy working with the senior population
- Demonstrated skills related to management, planning, marketing and quality improvement.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
