Job description

We are hiring a Residential House Manger

Qualifications: The Program Manager shall have at least a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or art and recreation therapy or be a Licensed Practical Nurse pursuant to the Illinois Nursing Act of 1987 (225 ILCS 65) or have a minimum of five years of supervised experience in mental health or human services. The PM may hold a Master’s degree in any field recognized under the definition of Qualified Program Manager without the required license, registration, or minimum experience. The PM will have a valid Illinois Driver’s License and a good driving record.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage assigned program elements
• Recruit and supervise staff as needed and as agreed upon by the Recovery Manager, Clinical Director, Executive Director, Medical Director and Management Team.
• Train staff as needed, to perform their assigned duties in keeping with the agency’s mission.
• Participate as directed on committees addressing agency needs.
• Represent the interest of your program staff in managerial meetings.
• Solicit staff and client feedback to help inform the agency’s decision-making process. Attend meetings as directed.
• Take responsibility for achieving program goals and productivity
• Be responsible for assigned on-call rotation with the Recovery Manager
• Complete monthly staff and staff clinical trainings with QMHP or LPHA
• Complete weekly house meetings with residents
• Review staff progress notes daily, pulling a sample from each staff member, and give feedback
• Direct service to resident of facility.
