House Parents (two people) for up to 6 Teen Girls’ Residential Home - this is a posting for two people. Salary quoted is per person.

Description: Renew Youth Homes (one for 6 girls and one for 6 boys) are a partnership between Eastside Academy (www.eastsideacademy.org) a non-profit, Christian alternative high school, and Bellevue Presbyterian Church (www.belpres.org). Homes are designed to provide an intentional, healing community for teens that attend EA.
Responsibilities include:
Nurturing, Educating, and Parenting Residents
Demonstrates ability to guide and support each resident entrusted to our care by building relationships, mentoring, and guiding them in a relational and professional manner.
Fostering relationships between residents and families.
Protecting the rights and dignity of each resident.
Attending to each resident’s wholistic health care needs (physical, emotional, spiritual).
Helping youth learn life-skills around employment, time management, academics, healthy lifestyle, etc.
Attending to residents' personal safety.
Facilitating recreational and leisure activities.
Facility and Office Management
Responsible for the management and maintenance of the resident home facility (requires the use of stairs by the employee), which include daily documentation, work scheduling, and home upkeep.
Providing transportation with housing vehicle.
Program Development
Attending weekly staff meetings, supervisor check ins, and team meetings as needed.
Committing to personal growth through educational opportunities and participating in a church community.
Qualifications:
A mature Christian faith and member of church or willing to attend and engage with BelPres.
High school diploma or equivalent required. AA/BA strongly preferred.
Be able to work and live in harmony with the core values and affirmations of Renew and its partners.
Experience in Christian youth ministry.
Experience with residential youth program development/administration highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required.
Valid Washington State Driver’s License and willingness to use program car for work-related purposes.
Agreement with ReNew Partners’ Statements of Faith.

Pay: $39,000.00 per year
