• Medical Gas Administration and aerosol therapy
• Obtaining an danalyzing blood specimens
• Operating and maintaining various respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment
• Maintain artificial airways, provide mechanical ventilation and assist with CPR as needed
• Provide patient education
• Assess equipment function and monitor patient response to therapy

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current Louisiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (Certified or Registered)
• CPR for Healthcare Providers to be completed within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be completed within 30 days of hire
