Restaurant Host - Estes Park *Weekend Availability*

This position is on site at our Stanley Hotel propertry, located in Estes Park, CO.

The Historic Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO. We are seeking experienced Hostess/Host candidates to manage the guest experience for our restaurant, Cascades.

JOB OVERVIEW

To coordinate and direct all activities for guests in the restaurantand ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and happy with their experience. To perform duties in a competent, knowledgeable, and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY

Strong knowledge and understanding of basic wait staff skills including, but not limited to: service and guest satisfaction, displaying initiative and handling guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Must be able to work on feet for (8) hours or more. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level, when necessary. Must be able to stoop, climb, bend, pull and push, and be flexible.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Must be able to work weekends

Must be able to hear and understand verbal directives and communicate the same in a clear concise manner.

SKILLS NECESSARY

Must be able to work with a variety of personalities.

Must be able to solve complaints and problems.

Must have the ability to pay attention to strict detail and recording procedures. Ability to write legibly and accurately count large sums of money.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Hostess position is a working lead position. It is essentially a host position with demanding leadership efforts and motivational skills. The Hostess is expected to “lead by example”, modeling the standards of exceptional guest experience and values of The Stanley Hotel.
• The Hostess is expected to lead Cascades operations in such a way as to offer excellent guest service.

Hostess/Host:

Must know and support hotel policies and procedures.

Must comply with all safety and security procedures.

Assist staff with all duties if necessary.

Provide a pleasant first and last impression of Cascades to guests and ensure the same from staff.

Support management team in hotel operations, including the cultivation of a caring and employee-based work culture.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
