The Embassy Suites South Bend at Notre Dameis seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our talented team!
With a prime location across the street from the University of Notre Dame, this property has 165 rooms, our complimentary breakfast and evening reception, Traditions Restaurant and Bar, and 8,000 square feet in banquet space.
We are seeking an energetic individual who is career driven, with a positive approach to hospitality. In this role, you will assist in the execution and leadership of our restaurant and evening reception.
As the ideal candidate, you will:
- Have previous food and beverage leadership experience in a hotel operation
- Have proven success of consistently executing a high-quality service in a professional atmosphere
- Have a detail-oriented approach to your work, with a passion for mentoring and developing a team
- Have a well-rounded background in various restaurant styles with a keen eye for details and exceptional organizational skills.

What will I be doing?
- Direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Oversee the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
