Burgerville stands for food and guest service excellence and our company and employees take pride in our Mission to Serve with Love. The Restaurant Marketing Manager position plays a critical role in delivering this exceptional guest experience, while driving product sales.
Position Summary:
The Restaurant Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the strategy for Burgerville’s in-restaurant marketing efforts.
Job Duties:
- Executes restaurant marketing strategy including physical and digital menu boards, kiosks and restaurant marketing programs
- Briefs and manages design, production and execution of physical and digital menu boards and in-restaurant printed and digital assets
- Participate on Go-To-Market Team to develop the integrated tools that support the selling of the product(s)
- Responsible for timing and placement of printed and digital assets in restaurants, including POP and promotional marketing materials
- In collaboration Digital Operations and Restaurants, designs the on-premise digital guest and delivery service provider experience
- Support the execution of in-restaurant community fundraisers and events
- Researches and analyzes trends in restaurant marketing and makes recommendations to increase sales
- Design, implement and evaluate Burgerville promotions and Kids’ Meal Program
- Manages and maintains restaurant marketing budget
- Leads the creation and production of restaurant promotional materials and events
- Ensure proper marketing tools and plans are implemented in the restaurants
- Educates restaurant management teams on current marketing and community programs
- Leverage Localville to create customized marketing tactics based on the unique needs of individual restaurants
- Responsible for designing and leading the execution of marketing activities that generate awareness and support restaurant openings
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in project management with the ability to successfully manage and execute multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge of current and emerging restaurant marketing trends, concepts, and practices
- Ability to write design briefs and partner with a creative agency to bring menu and marketing materials to life
- Expertise in market research and analyzing trends
- Possesses strong executional and time management skills
- Shows initiative, exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and present information effectively to all levels within the organization
- Excellent people skills with ability to interact and partner with restaurant management, colleagues, business partners and public
- Ability to prioritize the needs of the business, build strong relationships and generate results
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be able to self-manage and have the ability to apply analytical skills
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field is required
- 5-7 years of experience in retail or marketing required; restaurant marketing experience preferred
- A current driver’s license, clean driving record and a dependable vehicle are necessary for this position
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands of this position are limited to those found in a normal office and on occasion in restaurant environments
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use the hands to feel/handle/manipulate objects, talk, hear, type, vision – close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus
- On occasion there may be a request to work during the weekend or after normal business hours
- This job requires the ability to walk and stand frequently and sit on occasion, and drive to restaurant locations
- On occasion, it may be necessary to lift materials weighing in excess of 30 pounds and to carry that weight short distances
