Job Description:

Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club and Marina is seeking an experienced and customer-focused server to join our upscale casual restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Taking food and beverage orders and inputting them accurately into the POS system
• Serving food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensuring guest satisfaction by checking in with them regularly and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Maintaining a clean and organized dining area and workstation
• Collaborating with other restaurant staff, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and bussers, to ensure efficient and seamless service
• Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
• Preform side work at the start and end of each shift

Requirements:

• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail offerings
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications:

• Prior serving experience preferred
• Bartending experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

This position requires primarily evening shifts, with lunch/afternoon shifts required per business needs.

Current dining hours are Wednesday-Sunday 5pm-9pm. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
