Role:

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Restorative Aide - CNA to join our Cedar Ridge Village team! This position will provide an ongoing restorative program for all residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services. May be required to assist with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.

Hours: The hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm and this position will be required to work every other weekend (EOW).

Responsibilities:

• Follows and upholds community facility's philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each residents quality of care and quality of life
• Implement individualized restorative programs as directed to assist resident with maintaining highest practicable level
• Work closely with the physical therapy department
• Assist during mealtimes in the dining room
• Provides, completes and e- documents, if applicable, resident care as assigned
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of the community facility
• Provides care to Resident per Residents individualized plan of care
• Answers call-lights per facility policy
• Follows rules outlined in the the community facility's employee handbook
• Follows and understands the community facility's Emergency Preparedness plans
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
• Follows infection control guidelines

Qualifications:

• The Restorative Aide/Certified Nurse Assistant must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.
• If the employee is a candidate for C.N.A. they must be enrolled in and complete an approved training program and pass competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge within the time frame mandated by the respective state.
