• Supervise the outside vendor for PT as well as the internal Authorization team. Also, responsible for initiating
• Supervise PT charges for accuracy prior to claims processing. Corrects any errors and approves PT claims for processing.
• Oversees EDI claim rejections to identify new rules / scrubs edit rules to prevent future rejections.
• Supervise employees, replies to questions, address employee issues, and identify training opportunities.
• Ensure that all splints and DME’s are pre-approved when dispensed at the time of the Physical Therapy treatment.
• Responsible to bring resolution to complex patient PT Billing/Medical authorization issues and advise their manager accordingly.
• Addressing all Revenue Cycle Correspondences, including but not limited to, email, faxes, written, and internal Practice Management communications Perform any other duties as needed/required by the department. Ensures all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) regulations are adhered to.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Physical Therapy Billing and Medical Authorization.
• Orthopaedic and/or neurological experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• 3 but less than 5 years
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
