Job description
Arc Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated family NP or PA to provide outpatient primary care services to our tribal partner outpatient facility.
This is a short-term or locums opportunity that begins as soon as credentialed. The clinician in this role must be board certified, culturally humble, and dedicated to raising the quality of care for American Indian individuals served by this facility.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-5. 1 hour of admin time each day
- Typical number of patients per day: 14
- EMR: RPMS
- Specialty resources: minimal on-site specialists (podiatry, nephrology); small inpatient unit, no ICU or surgery
We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to meet the needs of this hospital, and who can commit at least 8-12 weeks.
Location & Population: This hospital, located within the Great Plains Indian Health Service area, is a 35-bed comprehensive medical/surgical facility. It is the primary source of health care for the Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate) tribal members, in and around the Rosebud Sioux reservation. The mission of the hospital is to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level.
Candidates must be:
- Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare, and compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners
- Board-certified
- Hold any active, unrestricted state license and a valid, unrestricted DEA with schedule I-V
- No loss of licensure or suspended licensure, or lapse in practice >6 months leading up to assignment
