Registered Nurse – Weekend Nurse Coordinator Day Hospital (Part-time)

About the Job:
This Nurse will join the team of Nurses in the Day Hospital of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders Clinic.

Some Highlighted Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include nursing care coordinator and provide direct patient care in providing chemotherapy, blood product administration and various other IV medication infusions to weekend outpatients in our Day Hospital.
This nurse will collaborate and communicate closely with the inpatient nursing team.
This is a part-time position that will be scheduled to work 40 hours every two weeks. This will consist of Friday, Saturday and Sundays with the flexibility to work other days if needing to complete their 40 hours.

Qualifications:
Experience: Two years of experience working as a RN with pediatric hematology Oncology patients is required. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing License: Texas RN license Certification: AHA BLS/CPR
