RN Complex Supervisor - Unique Weekend Only (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), 12 Hour Shifts

We are seeking an RN Complex Supervisor for a weekend only staffing position with 12 hour shift (8:00 pm - 8:00 am). This benefit eligible position, is a unique opportunity for a qualified nursing professional currently enrolled in coursework or looking to cut day care expenses.
Schedule:
Full-time, weekend only staffing position_ (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays,12-hour shift, 8:00 pm - 8:00 am)_
Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate resident care on the nursing units.
• Supervise and monitor performance of nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively.
• Monitor resident records and other documents.
• Serve as a resource for staff and other departments when necessary.
• Promote the safety of the residents and staff.
• Manager of community in the absence of Administrator and Directors or Assistant Directors.
• Complete assessments, MDS and care plan in accordance with State, Federal and Walker Methodist requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current_ licensure in the State of Minnesota._
• Current_ BLS certification._
• Demonstrate current knowledge in gerontological, rehabilitative, and medical surgical nursing.
• Knowledgeable in supervisor concepts, skills, and techniques.
• Participate in professional organization and continuing education in nursing, gerontology, and administration.
• Ability to maintain calm in an emergency while directing actions of staff.
• Flexible.
• Embrace and live out qualities of servant leadership.
• Foster and adhere to Walker Methodist's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Required Experience:
One to two years of nursing experience.
Preferred Experience:
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
