A reputable hospital just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is actively interviewing for a strong Emergency Department Nurse Director to join their executive leadership team!

The Emergency Department Nurse Director will have the wonderful opportunity to autonomously lead a strong team of emergency room staff in this 10+ bed department. In collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and ED Staff Physicians, the Emergency Room Director will serve as a strong nurse leader, ultimately ensuring smooth operations throughout the department and overseeing provision of high quality patient care. The ED Nurse Director will become largely responsible for departmental budget, appropriate staffing and scheduling, encouraging staff involvement in skills training and certification, and providing hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

This 45+ bed facility offers a range of medical services to the surrounding communities, including: medical surgical services, a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient surgical services and an outpatient surgery center, women’s services, intensive care, a cardiac cath lab, advanced diagnostic imaging services and radiology, several outpatient clinics, as well as rehabilitation services. This hospital is also a designated Trauma Center.
