A unique opportunity has just become available for the Rehabilitation Quality Nurse Director in the Northern New Jersey area! The RN with a background in quality management, performance improvement, and/or patient safety in an acute care environment will be a welcomed member of the team.

This approximately 40-bed rehabilitation facility, situated just outside of the Newark, NJ area, offers a range of rehabilitation services to patients in the surrounding communities. Services include treatment for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic care, cardiovascular, neurological care, and post-trauma care. This 24-hour nursing facility has a full interdisciplinary team of physicians, RNs, case managers, social workers, and therapists that are prepared to provide patients with high quality care outcomes.

The Rehabilitation Quality Nurse Director will join an outstanding executive leadership team to effectively lead and direct the Quality Management and Performance Improvement Program. Specific duties will include: providing leadership and serving as a point of contact for all staff in regards to quality measures, collecting and analyzing data and noting trends, advising staff on matters regarding patient safety and regulatory compliance, as well conducting education and training on quality management and performance improvement. The RN Director Quality Rehabilitation will work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Board of Directors to help improve and maintain the facility’s overall performance.

Requirements for this role will include:

• Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• Previous quality management/performance improvement experience in an acute care setting
• Previous rehabilitation setting experience highly preferred
• Certification in quality highly desired
