Summary:
Jersey Community Hospital (JCH) is a healthcare organization focused on delivering the best primary care and sustainable secondary care in the communities we serve. We currently serve people and communities in Jersey, Calhoun, Greene, and Madison Counties in Illinois.

Status Available:
- Per Diem - minimum of 2 shifts per month
Schedule:
- Will be scheduled to work in both the Med Surg & ICU units
Job Summary:
- Provides professional nursing care for patient on assigned nursing unit
- Demonstrates the ability to make effective nursing judgments in routine/emergency situations
- Provides preventative measures to maintain patient safety
- Assesses/provides age specific treatment/care
- Practices universal precautions, inflection control, and isolation procedures
- Participates in patient/family education
- Maintains accurate/concise documentation
- Participates in discharge planning
- Other duties as assigned
- Current Illinois RN license registration
- Current CPR certification
- Clinical experience preferred, but not required
- Good knowledge of the Nursing Process and strong nursing practice skills, including physical assessment skills
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
