Role Description

As an RN in the Neuro/Trauma ICU, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with neurological and traumatic injuries. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to this critically ill patient population.

RN Neuro/Trauma ICU Nurse Responsibilities

    Assess and monitor the neurological and physiological status of patients in the Neuro/Trauma ICU Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient Monitor and document vital signs and responses to treatments Operate specialized equipment such as intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring devices and ventilators Educate patients and families on their condition and provide emotional support Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols Stay current on developments in Neuro/Trauma care and technology by attending continuing education courses and workshops

RN Neuro/Trauma ICU Nurse Requirements

    Active RN license in the state of CA Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro/Trauma ICU setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of Neuro/Trauma nursing procedures and equipment, including ICP monitoring and ventilators Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology

    Active RN license required AHA BLS required AHA ACLS required Physical Exam Updated Resume Covid Vaccine Certificate

Night 19:00-07:30

36hr/ Week
