Job Summary:
Emergency Department Manager – is responsible and accountable for coordinating the activities and providing clinical and managerial leadership and clinical skill expertise for Emergency Department. Contributes to the vision, mission, strategic plan of the organization, and is accountable for the standards of care and practice where clinical nursing is practiced. Must be clinically competent in ED nursing skills, including ED triage. Direct patient care services are performed on an as needed basis, typically 60% of the time. Possesses knowledge of CMS (HCFA) standards specific to Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital, New Hampshire Board of Nursing rules, professional organization standards of practice and the rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Medical/Surgical Manager - Nurse Manager assumes leadership, accountability and responsibility for the nursing care team operations for Medical/Surgical Unit while maintaining responsibility to provide individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process.

Qualifications: Current registered nurse license in the State of New Hampshire. ACLS, PALS, required within six months of hire. TNCC and ENPC required within 1 year of hire. CEN preferred.
BSN or MSN preferred. Management experience preferred. Five years of nursing experience required.
