Position Type: Full-time (30 hours per week)
Pay range: $37- $50 per hour, DOE
Location: Gualala Medical Clinic – Urgent Care

Summary: As a member of the health care team, the Urgent Care Nurse provides and performs
comprehensive professional nursing duties for patients who come to the Urgent Care
Department with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. The best candidate will provide high-
quality patient care in a collaborative manner with all team members and will maintain
confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Registered Nurse License (California) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (California) 

Practical knowledge of professional nursing principles 

Previous ER experience preferred 

IV proficiency required 

Skills to provide comprehensive emergent/non-emergent nursing care 

Practical knowledge of pharmaceuticals, therapeutic effects, side effects and
complications 

Practical knowledge and skill in operating specialized emergency medical equipment 

Current CPR, BLS, PALS and ACLS is required 

Must demonstrate leadership skills and creativity in problem solving 

A valid California Driver’s License
