The Red Lion Hotel Bellevue is currently seeking a driven, energetic, and ambitious Rooms Supervisor. The hands-on position is oversees for the front desk and housekeeping daily operations, and is frequently working at the front desk.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and housekeeping departments on a daily basis.
• Communicates with housekeeping and front desk to ensure housekeeping coverage and rooms inventory is accurate and correct on a daily basis
• Monitors room rates and inventory, and adjusts when necessary
• Ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved
• Hires, trains, coaches, schedules, and evaluates employees
• Acts as the manager on duty, resolves guest concerns, responds to emergency situations, and may cover shifts in the case of being short-staffed.
• Ensures hotel policy and procedures are followed
• Follows budget guidelines and monitors compliance when purchasing and approving supplies

Qualifications Include:

• The ability to read, write and effective verbally communicate in English
• The ability to learn and use a computer property management system (Opera experience a plus)
• A working understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Office
• Analyze, interpret, and enforce established policies and procedures
• 2+ years hotel rooms operations experience preferred (front desk and/or housekeeping)
• The ability to work a very flexible schedule, to include mornings, evening, weekends and holidays, as required.
