This position is for our FieldTurf location
SUMMARY:
The tufting rover’s main responsibility is to ensure that optimum standard conditions are utilized for the tufting processes and that those processes meet all of Field turf’s standards for performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work around and with automated equipment, moving machinery, and computerized systems.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment, not only with his/her department, but also with any other department.

Attention to detail, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions, ability to resolve issues involving variables in standardized situations.

Frequently required to reach overhead, kneel, wrap tufted rolls, remove waste and recycle containers, assist with roll doffing, backing changes, creel changes as needed. Must be able to read and write in English, work in an efficient manner and complete other tasks assigned by leadership.

Must be able to stand continuously stand throughout an 8-12 hour shift traverse up and down stairs as well as walking throughout department.

Must have the ability to work up to a 12 hour daily schedule and overtime as required.

Must have the ability to work full shift as assigned. Must fully understand tasks associated with the roving process.
This position is for day shift.
