Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform technical repairs as noted on the Repair Order.
- Perform work assigned with speed and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
- Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean and neat.
- Responsible to keep work area clean at all times.
- Responsible to see that the cause of failure and repair description is noted in detail on the repair order for each repair performed and proper clock punched time on R.O. or computer.
- Keep Service Advisor informed of work needed that was not written on the repair order.
- Responsible to see that proper operation number is obtained from dispatch for warranty repairs.
- Responsible to perform repairs in the order assigned by the dispatcher. Any added work repairs must be authorized by management prior to repair being performed.
- Must keep Service Advisor/Manager informed on status of vehicle, holding for parts or authorization, etc.
- Must notify Service Advisor of any problems encountered with repairs, which would keep vehicle from meeting the promise time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Valid Driver's License, required
- Two (2) years experience in a RV Service Department, preferred
