JOB PURPOSE

The RAKA Sales Representative is responsible for selling high-quality new and used equipment, parts and service, and aftermarket products to new and existing customers.  The Sales Representative specializes in innovative capital equipment solutions with an emphasis on Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich and Shuttlewagon material handling products. The Sales Representative will work independently in a designated territory with a high degree of integrity and professionalism in order to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration.

As a RAKA Sales Representative, you can expect to:

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Promote RAKA's products and related services by establishing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with current customers and prospective customers in an assigned territory
  • Make telephone calls, other forms of digital touch-points, and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential and pre-qualifies value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

  • We are interested in knowing about your Sales education and training, Bachelor's degrees in Business or Sales preferred.
  • Tell us about your sales experience including your accomplishments, sales numbers and business development experience. B2B sales preferred.
  • Let us know if you have created or managed a multi-million dollar sales pipeline and how you maintained it.

Pay: $83,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
