Sales Assistant

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting Co., home of The CW26 and The U has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant. You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Managers and Account Executives in creating, booking, scheduling and maintenance of sales activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Processing of sales orders in a timely manner.
Maintenance of orders (make goods, changes, and filing).
Coordination of all maintenance with clients via phone, email, or fax.
Assists in the flow of information to clients (e.g., rate changes, inventory updates, etc.)

Backs up other sales assistants when necessary.

Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous TV or Radio experience a plus.

Medialine experience preferred.

Wide Orbit experience preferred.

Candidates must have MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel experience.

Must be able to deal with deadline pressure.

Strong written, verbal, negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent computer skills are a must.
