As a first sales hire at FairStreet, you’ll scale our growth and modernize the work of thousands of insurance agents across the country who serve seniors. FairStreet’s mission is to empower the 55 million Americans 65 and older to make confident and well-informed healthcare choices, starting with Medicare enrollment. We’re building the platform top independent Medicare agents use to enroll seniors into the right health insurance.
Our vision
Each year, millions of Americans turn 65 and turn to insurance agents for help enrolling in Medicare. But these agents lack the tools they need to help seniors get the right care — they’re still running on Excel spreadsheets and faxes.
Seniors rely on agents because Medicare is overwhelming. They face 57+ insurance plan options(!) with serious and irreversible consequences for their health and financial wellbeing. (30% of seniors don’t fill prescriptions due to affordability.)
Agents are superheroes who help seniors navigate this complexity and enroll. Great agents educate their clients about Medicare and serve as a trusted advisor year after year.
We’re creating a future in which every senior nationwide enrolls in Medicare with a great agent powered by FairStreet’s software. Agents spend their time where having a trusted, human interaction is invaluable and technology takes care of the rest.
About FairStreet
FairStreet was founded by Sarah Jacobson and Tori Seidenstein after meeting at Stanford business school. Tori was a software engineer on Facebook’s health team, growing from 0 to 50 million users in two years. Sarah was previously a product manager at Square and Stride Health, a health insurance marketplace.

The role
As our first sales hire, you’ll own our sales pipeline and work with prospects from start to finish. This for someone with 1+ years of sales experience and reports to the CEO.

Our sales calls are fun and customers are excited to speak with us! This is a legacy industry so there aren’t lots of software solutions and agents are delighted by our product
Short sales cycle with high repetition — this is a great role for someone who loves to see fast results
We’ve figured a lot out (we have strong product-market fit) but there’s still a ton of opportunity for you to own, like how we move upmarket into larger agencies
You will:
Nurture 20-30 inbound prospects per week and develop relationships with agents across the country
Deliver amazing product demos to show how FairStreet solves critical problems for Medicare insurance agents
Track sales progress and forecast to achieve team goals using our Hubspot sales CRM
Own sales materials and processes to create a world-class sales function
Collaborate with our product & operations teams to provide valuable feedback from sales calls with agents
Learn about the Medicare landscape including knowledge of competitive products
Requirements:
1+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong track record, ideally in SMB sales
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
This is a full time position that comes with a generous base plus commission. Includes full benefits and PTO
