Sales Operations/Inside Sales Specialist with excellent customer service and analytical skills to partner with our Regional Vice President (Sales). This position will report into the Vice President (FP&A and Operations)
In this role you will work closely with the sales and finance leadership, account managers, Sales Specialists to assist with sales forecasting and analytics, CRM and calendar management inclusive of product shipping forecasts, workflow processes, sales order processing, and business development with the goal of increasing client satisfaction and contributing to the growth of the business. Your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and work proactively in a fast-paced environment will be the key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to provide reporting functions including dashboards, sales projections, and charts
- Strong customer service orientation and an effective influencer with excellent telephone etiquette and presentation skills
- Organized with demonstrated initiative - must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Accurately forecast shipping schedules for secured (Backlog) revenue and bookings.
- Work with Business finance and Revenue Recognition lead to ensure that GAAP revenue and GP is accurately converted from bookings.
- Track key Deals to closure to make the current month’s plan both for bookings Revenue and GP
Experience/Education
- 5+ years ‘experience in sales operations, inside sales support, or business development within the technology industry preferred
- Microsoft Office required, and SAP preferred
- Experience with providing sales quotes
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Team oriented, flexible and adaptable; Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Highly polished and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Willing to travel to client sites as needed
