Regional Marketing Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Admissions/Sales
  • Responds to inquiries, gives tours, and follows through the sales process until move-in day.
  • Leads WHC website strategy, including content direction, writing, monitoring traffic, implementing new features, and managing search engine optimization.
Events/Public Relations
  • Builds relationships with referral sources and other professionals throughout the Cedar Valley and other areas served by Western Home Communities.
  • Plans marketing events to attract prospects at WHC and its affiliates.
  • Develops a broad network of contacts with leading people in our communities, the state and the healthcare industry.
Marketing Strategy & Goals
  • Work with Director of Marketing to develop external strategy that results in maximum census, while enhancing the brand and reputation of Madrid Home Communities and other Western Home Communities affiliates.
  • Works with the Chief Communications Officer and Director of Marketing to develop quarterly and annual marketing plans for regional WHC affiliates
Admissions/Resident Relations
  • Generating leads and tracking trends to plan for future needs.
  • Identifies and trains back-up hospitality teams throughout the organization.
  • Provides direction and consultation for admissions personnel in WHC affiliates.
Marketing Analytics
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly reports and inquiries, follow-up, tours and move-ins.
  • Tracks and analyzes results of marketing campaigns and makes adjustments to improve the ROI of the marketing budget.
  • Utilizes CRM and keeps database current and accurate.
Compliance
  • Maintains updated nursing policy and procedure manual and ensures the effective execution of resident care policies.
  • Conducts ongoing audits and state/federal surveys of resident care and staff practices.
  • Assures compliance with federal and state regulations concerning the standards of practice, investigations and reporting of abuse allegations.
  • Research regulations and evidenced based practices during policy reviews, making changes as needed.
Professional Responsibilities
  • Represents Western Home Communities in a professional manner within WHC and the community.
  • Accepts the responsibility of defining and consistently pursuing own continuing education requirements.
  • Serves on administrative committees and attends Director meetings as needed.
Requirements:
Education, Experience and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Creative thinker and collaborator.
  • Excellent writer and speaker.
  • Competent manager of project timelines.
  • Effective networker with strong community connections.
  • Strong believer in the mission and core values of Western Home Communities.
  • Basic computer skills required; proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Background in areas such as sales, public relations, event planning, copywriting, marketing plan development and team leadership.
  • Previous work experience with older adults is a plus.
  • Valid Iowa driver’s license or willingness to achieve it.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
