PROGRAM OVERVIEW
City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer programs in public parks throughout the five boroughs of New York City. - We produce SummerStage, the largest free, outdoor performing arts festival in NYC, presenting world-class artists from across the globe and our own neighborhoods on our mainstage in Central Park and in local parks in all five boroughs, and our Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre and roving PuppetMobile present marionette puppet theater throughout New York City.
- Partnerships for Parks, a public-private program of City Parks Foundation and NYC Parks, supports and champions a growing network of community leaders who care and advocate for the transformation of our neighborhood parks.
- We connect youngsters to nature in the urban environment through progressive, experiential teaching. Using parks as classrooms, we provide learning experiences and hands-on activities in urban forests, coastal areas, and gardens.
- Free golf, tennis, track & field, soccer, and fitness programs bring high-quality instruction and equipment into areas where few organized athletic opportunities exist. We offer leveled training, year-round scholarship coaching, and special pro events.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our Salesforce CRM system is used to track fundraising and sponsorship, marketing, and programming data across our organization. The Salesforce Adminstrator is responsible for overseeing and managing this organization-wide CRM system, including data input, management, report-writing, and application add-ons. The manager will continue the data conversion and implementation process, develop business processes with our staff, customize the system as needed, and identify new and future uses of the system. The manager would also serve as the internal liaison with external salesforce consultants / developers as applicable.
The Salesforce Adminstratoris responsible for owning and executing the day-to-day configuration, reporting, training, support, maintenance and overall improvement of our Salesforce CRM platform. Work closely with our staff, including the Partnerships for Parks Manager of Data and Evaluation, to build out, implement and improve data collection for departments not yet using the system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist departments in analyzing data needs and use of the CRM system
- Collaborate with end users in all departments to generate reports, lists and other information
- Import external data as needed
- Provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation and support as necessary and help ensure that data is entered properly
- Create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, and standard and custom fields
- Customize reporting and dashboards for various staff and departments
- Manage and maintain third party apps and make recommendations on tools that will provide better user experiences and efficiencies
- Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management
- Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts, workflows and approvals
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
