Position Summary: The Senior (Sr.) Salesforce Business Analyst is an essential member of the team ensuring the successful delivery of our Salesforce practice. This is a key role in a high visibility program with large area of responsibility. The ideal candidate shall be able to demonstrate experience in leading requirements gathering session in a multi-discipline Enterprise-level Salesforce environment, defining a product roadmap working with the product owner based on the epics and user stories documented during requirements gathering session. Create process flow diagrams and validate the process with the product owner. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit, gather, evaluate, and document information from various sources and stakeholders during business discovery and/or grooming and break down high-level information into detailed requirements.
  • Create process flow charts of business processes
  • Lead grooming session of the user stories
  • Prepare project specific documentation and deliverables (User stories, User Guides, Quick Reference Sheets, Train-the-Trainer, data dictionary, communication plan, test plans, etc.)
  • Map functional business requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
  • Understand business problems and optimize processes to ensure value process improvement and error reduction.
  • Engage with Developers, Solution Architect, and other members of the delivery team to ensure systems meet business needs.
  • Interview/solicit requirements from internal/external stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements to clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria format in requirements management system (e.g. JIRA).
  • To ensure application follows UI/UX principles to make the application intuitive and promote user adoption.
  • Work with Product Owner to prioritize user stories/epics to ensure delivery of Minimal Viable Product (MVP).
  • Assess requirements to produce wireframes/visual flows/process diagrams and/or fit gap analysis to devise options for solving business challenges.
  • Build reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Engage in testing cycles (UAT, Regression and system).
  • Conduct project application training sessions remotely/ in-person to end users.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or similar.
  • Minimum work experience: 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Sr. Business Analyst with end-to-end Salesforce or other cloud implementation.
  • Strong expertise in applying Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Minimum 3+ years working within all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and an Agile driven development environment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the Salesforce platform configuring sales, service, community clouds, and/or custom Salesforce apps.
  • At a minimum must possess an active Salesforce System Administrator Certification, other certifications are highly preferred.
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.
  • Experience working in JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile project management tool.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.

Preferred Skills and/or Experience:

  • Salesforce System Administrator certification, required.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification, highly desirable
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification, highly desirable
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, is a plus
  • Project Management experience, is a plus
  • Certified Scrum Master, is a plus
