Must be comfortable in an environment with a great deal of ambiguity On a day to day basis, the Cyber Security Engineer will set up in the secure lab, connect a laptop to a radar, remote in and run vulnerability scans. From there, they will harden radar systems, scanning with NESSUS, do patching and reinstalling third party software that may be out of date. Eventually, they will hand off to Engineering to test and adjust if needed. The Cyber Engineer will then write a Technical Report.
