Position Overview and Responsibilities
This position is an entry-level production support position that has functional responsibility for the safe, accurate and efficient delivery of inter/intrastate cargo.
Key areas of responsibility are:
- The safe and accurate delivery of cargo as scheduled by manager.
- Responsible for upholding all safety and traffic regulations set by the Department of Transportation.
- Respect all company bio-security protocols.
- Abide by all company policies, rules and safety regulations as directed on each site.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance with manager and transportation personnel.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma preferred.
Experience: Previous driving experience preferred.
Other: Demonstrates impeccable reliability and dependability standards.
Motor Vehicle Record: Because this position requires operating a company vehicle, or regular mileage reimbursement, any offer for this position is contingent upon the review of your motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CFF's insurance carrier and company policy.
Job Requirements:
Ability to understand and follow driving instructions/road maps.
Ability to manage time and prioritize.
Previous record of driving in a careful and courteous manner.
Must be dependable, reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Have the ability to learn and take initiative.
The ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly with bending and twisting.
Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties
Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.
Work Environment:
Must be able to drive a vehicle for approximately 3-4 hours per day with adequate time to rest provided.
