School Bus Company is seeking to hire an experienced School Bus Safety / Trainer CDL BPS to train drivers to get their CDL. Helping to maintain Training and Compliance Department. The candidate must have three years experience in the School Bus industry. Preferably in Safety, Training, Class Facilitation, reviewing Safety Violations and Complaints with constructive retraining, and audit preparation if necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train new drivers to get their CDL
• Re-Train existing drivers on safe school bus driving protocols and procedures when necessary
• Ensure full Dept of Education and NJ DMV DOT compliance
• Full knowledge of NJ DMV CDL requirements for School Bus Drivers
• Knowledge of ELDT -FMCSA Entry Level Driver Training
• Clean license

Year round position. Union Shop. Benifits offered.

• Train new Drivers and Bus Matrons according to industry standards
• Help maintain new Driver and Monitor files
• Facilitate ELDT CDL Training behind the wheel and in a classroom setting
• Occasional Backup Driver, may be needed to drive when necessary
• Must be willing to work mid-days and Saturdays

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class B CDL with “S” and “P” endorsement
• 3 years of School Bus Experience or equivalent in the public Transit
• Strong Detailed to Details and Well Organized
• Perform well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
