What You’ll Be Doing:
Who You’ll Be Working With: Our Technical team at New Century Health is looking for a Scrum Master to be part of the CarePro team to help manage product development processes following Agile methodology and SCRUM.
What You’ll Be Doing: This position will be responsible to deliver quality features development in a SCRUM environment ensuring that members of the team follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities. The core duties include:
  • Integrate current delivery approach into an Agile SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) process and customize it to serve New Century Health needs
  • Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines on day-to-day basis. Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
  • Develop and use metrics to ensure successful delivery and predictability of the development operations and quality standards
  • Coordinate with Development Manager to assure continuous process improvement and effective performance of the members of the team
  • Work with Product Owners to make sure the team remains fed with a clear backlog from the Product Management team
  • Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
The Experience You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation technique
  • Scrum Master or Agile certification (SAFe, PSM, CSM, CSP, CST, PMI-ACP, etc.)
  • Hand-on experience with managing SCRUM processes and metrics using Azure DevOps
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
  • Healthcare experience with US insurance processes is preferred.
  • Experience with Confluence and Aha tools.

Technical Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $105,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
