What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Scrum Master. This position falls under our Corpay line of business and is remote. In this role, you will be accountability for 1-2 cross-functional product engineering teams.
You will report directly to the Vice President of Technology and regularly collaborate with the Engineering Team.

As a Scrum Master you will be expected to work in a virtual environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
Scrum Team Coach
  • Scrum team is empowered and self-managing
  • Scrum values and pillars are observed
  • Scrum events and artifacts are purposeful and useful
  • Scrum team delivers quality incremental value each sprint
Product Owner Coach
  • Product and sprint goals reflect business value and are widely understood
  • Stakeholder participation and feedback with the scrum team occur often
  • Product backlog is emergent, prioritized, and refined with the scrum team
Organization Coach
  • Scrum is implemented per the Scrum Guide, and the teams empirically leverage various other tools and practices to augment the framework
  • Scrum teams are cross-functional with the skills necessary to deliver product increments
  • Organizational impediments are visible
  • There is a culture of agile and lean thinking, and a continuous drive toward technical excellence and a robust infrastructure
  • Leadership supports product engineering teams in their adoption of scrum
Supportive Tasks
  • Participate in global and local communities of practice, both internal and external
  • Continue learning and developing skills and competencies in agile, scrum, product management
Qualifications & Skills
  • Capable of delivering position outcomes
  • Skilled at relationship-building, coaching, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Ability to apply complimentary tools such as lean, Kanban, systems thinking
  • Base understanding of modern engineering practices: SDLC, DevOps, TDD, BDD, UX, testing automation, etc.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred
