Gochenauer Pet Resort, Lancaster County's most exciting pet care business, is looking for enthusiastic dog lovers to join our team!

We're a multi-generational, family owned business and have been providing quality pet care since 1971. We're currently the proud winners of 58 local reader's choice awards from publications including Lancaster Magazine and the Lancaster Newspaper.

We are currently seeking dependable and positively motivated individuals to join our team for summer/seasonal employment from May to September. This is a fast paced environment that requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently. This position includes weekends.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Cleaning pet living quarters and exercise areas
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats
• Leash walking dogs
• Playtime sessions with pets
• Monitoring pets
• Washing and drying dishes
• Washing and processing laundry
• General cleaning in all areas of the building

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to leash walk dogs up to 200 pounds
• Patiently and compassionately care for pets
• Maintain favorable and positive work relations with others

Schedule Requirements:

• Flexible schedule
• Available to work assigned days Sunday through Saturday. Morning shifts are typically between the hours of 7:00 am and 1:00 pm and afternoon shifts are typically between the hours of 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm including weekends and Holidays.
