POSITION SUMMARY:

If you are a passionate, energized individual who enjoys recreation and outdoor activities, one of the positions listed below may be perfectly suited for you.

**The Season begins early December and ends mid March.
**Employees will work 20-40 hours per week.
**WEEKEND availability preferred.
**Minimum 18 years of age for Tow Operators.
POSITIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:
TOW OPERATORS: Will maintain safe operations of the towlines and tubing runs by enforcing loading and unloading procedure; control access to and exit from the tubing runs; and respond to incidents and emergencies. *Must be at least 18 years of age
SNACK BAR ATTENDANT/CASHIER: Prepare and vend all food and beverages on the menu according to approved standards and codes. Make accurate change and inventory supplies. Position requires ability to operate cash register. Sell lift tickets to the general public, wristband rental groups, enforce height restrictions for access to the hill, make accurate change, and inventory supplies. Position requires ability to operate cash register.
LEAD OPERATOR- CONCESSIONS: Concessions operator, opening the concession stand, preparing the menu items for sale, managing the cash register, inventorying, and creating order lists for food and beverage supplies, serving customers at the concession counter. Supervises seasonal snack bar workers, insures a safe, clean eating experience by directing seasonal staff to clean tables and chairs, enforcing safety rules within the chalet, and keeping patrons safe in the use of Sylvan Tubing Hill. *High school graduation required plus two years post high school work experience or training in a service provider field. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must have the ability to obtain a current Wisconsin Dept of Health and Family Services Food Handlers Certificate at the level required by the concession license issued to the Sylvan Chalet Snack Bar.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
All employees may be expected to perform the following duties:
Maintain a clean, safe operating environment

Communicate with staff and patrons regarding safety issues
Prepare and maintain accurate records related to daily duties
Prepare the facility for opening and closing
Respond to staff or patron concerns
Other related duties as assigned

COMPENSATION:
Tow Operators: $14.00 - $15.00
Snack Bar Attendant /Cashier $9.35 - $10.35
Lead Operator- Concessions $15.50- $16.50
No benefits are provided for these seasonal positions.
