POSITION OVERVIEW
Waterfront Office Assistant will support the waterfront department by making sure all office duties are completed on time and accurately.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create weekly schedule for dockhands according to work flow
- Assist with answering the phone to customers
- Check email, schedule interviews, voicemails, leads and other software programs
- Review ticketing system and receipts for accuracy purposes
- Provide written and verbal communication to boat renters in a timely manor
- Ensure rental boats are set up with correct number of contracts, inspection sheets and waiver necessary for the rental
- Ability to assist with boat registrations and SOS processes
- Ability to provide information to boat renters and have basic knowledge of rental boats and processes
- Ability to assist and show a boat to customers
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Customer Service and Problem-Solving Analysis: Ability to serve our customers timely and efficiently. Understand that the customer is our number one priority, and serving them is what will make us successful able to identify needs of various businesses and present solutions accordingly
- Training: Able to clearly document company procedures and policies and train staff and employees on these company procedures and policies
- Communication: Able to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and company personnel, able to clearly and effectively communicate information both orally and in writing
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year experience in office administration
- Excellent customer service

- Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is quiet to medium loud. Work is done in an office, on a boat, on the dock or in a retail space.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, regularly required to stand and walk. Employee regularly uses hands and fingers to touch, feel, handle. Employee regularly stoops, kneels, bend at the waist, and reaches. Employee is frequently required to speak and hear. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
