Security Analyst II

This would be for a Part-time (20hrs./week) 6-month contract position. We are hoping that they would be open to additional ad-hoc hours as needed while the audit is in full swing.

A. Annual audits, compliance, privacy laws, and supporting the submission of the Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.

a. The CMS Migration of ARS 3.1 to ARS 5.0 is mandatory for all CMS FISMA systems as early as September 30, 2022.

b. Support the ServiceNow bid for a new ATO, there will be an ACT audit of the security which includes NICE CXOne as a subsystem. Security documentation will need to be reviewed and/or updated to ensure compliance.

B. Recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and documentation as needed or based on annual audits.

C. Mentor junior staff in the development of technical skills, as well as provide daily direction that ensures that daily activities are completed within the defined timeframes.

D. Liaise with CMS Security and Security as needed.

Requirements
· A bachelor’s degree in Computer Security

· Experience with security audits, preferably government security audits

· Would be great if they had experience with CMS

· Deep Understanding of FISMA and security controls

· Experience writing and submitting security documentation

· Able to understand the security impacts and implications of adding new technology into a secure system and identify the risks.

· Able to work well with 3 rd party vendors

· Able to collaborate with and mentor other Ventech team members

· Able to articulate security concepts to others in a way that’s easy to understand

· Familiarity with Agile would be a plus

· Experience with SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence

Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
