Security Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Required Skills and Experience:

• Candidate MUST have experience working with either Netskope, Cloudflare and/or Zscaler (know of any of these, at least two would be preferred).

Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:

• Installation and configuration of Netskope, Cloudflare and/or Zscaler (know of any of these, at least two would be preferred)Willing to learn about a product they are not familiar with

• Cloud based solution based on above products
• Support and evaluate above products as part of Proof of Concepts (POC)
• Part of Secure Science initiative. Securing remote access via VPN to client Labs20 sites, 7500 users

• Give professional opinion on products as part of POC; evaluate ease of use, installation, support, and best access choice.
• Document installation and performance of product, list of steps taken to install and configureDocument structured plan around above

Test products as needed to meet client requirements
Connect to Splunk and similar products and extensions.
Evaluate vendor support

• Good communication regarding products and ongoing POC details
• Assist in building use cases for products as needed
• Detail oriented regarding POC
• Test users’ access across all client Lab sites all paths required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $95.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
