Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors students, faculty, staff and visitors while on stationary or roving patrol in campus buildings at HSC to ensure safety and security of people and facilities.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED and zero-one year of related experience.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency with computer applications and the ability to learn new applications. Good report writing, interpersonal, communication skills, including the ability to project a professional, friendly demeanor to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Demonstrated history of dependability and punctuality at work. Ability to implement policies and procedures in an efficient manner. Demonstrated service orientation. Flexibility in work schedule. Ability to multi-task. Must be able to respond to supervision in a positive manner.
Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
High school diploma or equivalent required. History of customer service and/or security experience, and/or experience working in a university or hospital setting desired.
