• High School Diploma, or the equivalent, required Minimum two (2) years related security experience required and/or associates degree or higher, with a criminal justice or related concentration.
• Experience in healthcare security preferred.
• Valid PA Act 235 (Lethal Weapons Training Act) Certification Required within six (6) months of hire preferred Valid Drivers license required Proficiency with IBM (or compatible) hardware and Windows and Microsoft Office software required.
• Familiarity with email and automated scheduling systems also required Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
