Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, has immediate openings for Industrial Cleaner positions. These are
part-time, temp-to-perm positions for a leading automotive manufacturer in the Vance and Cottondale, AL areas..
Ideal candidates will be responsible for proper lockout/tagout; cleaning paint booth walls and windows; mopping; cutting and replacing plastic covering; replacing robot covers; cleaning sludge from flood sheets and under booths; cleaning purge pots; scraping and cleaning conveyors, rollers and rails; replacing filters; cleaning ovens; replacing foil; cleaning air showers; cleaning tanks; etc...
Schedule:
- Part-time only
- Must have weekend availability
Compensation:
- Pay rates vary depending on position/schedule/assignment
Responsibilities:
- Performing proper lockout/tagout procedures per safety protocol
- Cleaning paint booth walls and windows
- Mopping designated work areas
- Cutting and replacing plastic coverings as needed
- Replacing robot covers
- Removing and cleaning sludge from flood sheets and under booths
- Cleaning purge pots
- Scraping and cleaning conveyors, rollers and rails
- Replacing filters as needed
- Cleaning ovens and air showers, etc.
- Must wear proper PPE at all times while on premises and in assigned work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous experience in the automotive industry (warehouse/logistics environment preferred)
- Must wear head protection (hard hat/bump cap), safety toed shoes, safety glasses, lint-free suit, chemical and/or cut resistant gloves, face shield, etc. If prescription glasses are worn, either prescription safety glasses (meeting ANSI Z87.1 standard) or “overviews” are required
- Ability to analyze and solve problems and work independently
- Must have excellent attendance and complete quality work on time preferred
