WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Help manage the A/R by performing all aspects of the account follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely collection
• Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients that include monitoring payments as well as following up with payments when lapses occur

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• 2-3 years of high-volume collections experience
• Prior experience working with self-pay accounts in a doctor’s office or medical collection agency is a plus, but not required
• An understanding of medical billing and third-party reimbursement in order to accurately answer patient inquiries efficiently, is a plus, but not required
• Ability to multi-task
• Advanced computer skills
• General knowledge of CPT/ICD10
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Must be able to work with others as a team or independently, unsupervised in a high volume, fast paced work environment.
