Senior Accountant
The Accounting Team is a dynamic, growing team of accounting professionals looking to add a crucial player to our team. We are a key component to the business who work well together to get into the details, getting them right, and presenting clear and concise information to our teams so that we can make the most strategic decisions in helping the company grow. We are looking to make our team whole by adding this additional role.
Apploi is a Remote First environment.
The Role
Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, the Senior Accountant role will be fully remote with the option for in-person gatherings. You’ll have the chance to work directly with Apploi’s teams and leadership, enabling them with to drive the business and to understand the efficiency. We’re looking for an Sr. Accounting rockstar who can support the business and drive results!
Who you are
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- At least 5 Years of Private or Public Accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field such as finance
- Understanding of Saas a plus but not required
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Experience with SalesForce a plus
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Desired to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed
- Adaptability to new initiatives
What You’ll Do
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile expenses and balance sheet data - essentially, rock those math skills!
- Maintain supporting schedules for assigned G/L
- Monthly/Quarterly Variance analysis (Analysis is your thing! Should be a breeze!)
- Create departmental reports to compare to budget pacing
- Assist with A/R & A/P Aging analysis
- Document accounting process and internal control
- Assist in month end close and quarterly reporting
- Assist with annual audit
