Job Title: Senior Accountant

Summary: Senior Accountant will carry out tasks associated with producing timely/accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare journal entries as part of a month-end close process.
- Process Contract module Billing and work with customers and the internal business team to ensure timely and accurate billing and contract revenue recognition.
- Perform month-end reconciliations.
- Review and approve employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Supervise the work of the staff accountant.
- Other ad-hoc analysis and projects as assigned by the controller.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or related field, CPA a plus
- 2-5 years of professional experience working in finance and/or accounting
- Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel/Word.
- Experience in Sage Intacct preferred
- Motivated and self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to manage time effectively
- Collaborative and a strong team player
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
