The Analyst, Derivatives will work within the Cboe Markets team assisting the US Derivatives business line. As an analyst, you’ll be expected to demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the chance to solve complex problems and present your findings.

The job will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities.
Establish and enhance key client metrics for use by Cboe Derivatives Sales & Coverage teams.
Assist with monitoring of customer trends, the competitive landscape and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing competiveness and effectiveness of Cboe pricing and offerings. Identify opportunities and develop adaptive responses proactively.
Support Sales, Account Coverage, and Business Leaders within the Derivatives team with one-off analyses and internal analyses.
Assist Derivatives business leaders with creating presentations / reports for senior management and the Exchange / CFE Board of Directors
Conduct industry and product research and help to synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses; derive insights from large volumes of data
Leverage derivatives market structure knowledge to measure client trading patterns and the impact to market share and profitability.
Assist with the management of US Derivatives Product initiatives working closely with Derivatives Strategy, Market Structure and Functionality, Operations, Product Management, and Technology.
Work with senior members of the Derivatives team in creating analysis that helps establish business line metrics to drive growth of Cboe’s futures exchange.
Assist Account Coverage team in preparing for client meetings and follow-ups.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience in Derivatives Product Management and/or detailed US Futures, options and/or equity microstructure analysis
Experience in creating analyses and presentation to create a consensus for decision making
Must possess strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and presentation skills
Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Word. SQL and programming skills (e.g. Python) preferred
