We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Senior Analyst, Network Support Compensation to join our Talent Operations team.
Your Impact
Achievement First seeks a Senior Analyst of Network Support Compensation who will lead AF's job classification systems, ensuring that new positions, candidates and job descriptions are comprehensive, up to date and accurate. This includes salary scale, policy and process requirements. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Senior Analyst will play an active role in analyzing data, from survey responses and on an ad hoc basis.
Responsibilities of the Senior Analyst, Network Support Compensation will include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze, prepare and present data, specifically job and compensation analysis
- Draft, maintain, and communicate compensation policies and updates
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization, ensuring that descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed
- Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales
- Evaluate new positions using the job evaluation manual
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
- Provide salary placement recommendations for external network support hires
- Provide training and guidance to Network Support teammates, both individual contributors and managers, on the Network Support compensation system, including pay decisions and policy interpretations.
Candidate Profile
An ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in the following areas:
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of compensation structures, base pay administration, job analysis, documentation and evaluation
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong general knowledge of human resources
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Outlook, Word and Excel
In addition, the following characteristics are required to be successful on this team:
- A bachelor's degree
- Prior customer service experience
- Belief in the Achievement First mission and educational model
- Confident in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels within the organizations
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, entrepreneurial environment;
- Ability to work both independently, as well collaborate as part of a team
- Demonstrate and display honesty, integrity, and personal accountability
Compensation
Achievement First sets salaries through a lens of equity, based on the requisite skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. The salary for this position is $85,295. In order to uphold our commitment to equity, Achievement First does not negotiate pay. Achievement First offers to all regular, full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 403(b) retirement benefit package with match, and paid Family Leave.
