Position: Senior Applications Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Full-Time/ perm

Large hospital system client is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst.
This role is to replace someone who was promoted to a manager position. This position will work in the team of 8 individuals that support integrations of systems that provide patient monitoring systems both in hospital and remote for home care, and telehealth systems. Client uses Epic so any certification in Epic is needed. Also a background in clinical IT or technology is helpful. This position involves performing project management tasks of the new implementations by working with the vendor and inhouse teams to install these systems. Person does not need to be a formal PM or have PM cert. It is more managing the process. Also will collect the specifications of the software and work with the vendor and IS team to make sure the integration plan is to the specifications. 50% of the role is overseeing implementations, 25% post breakfix/troubleshooting( mostly working with the vendor for this) 25% implementing low-level change requests. Person must have professional communications skills. They will be working with the hospital executive sponsors of these systems. Most are Directors and other high level administrators. Also will work with other clinical users of these systems.

Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Application System Manager provide support to assist in the implementation and ongoing support of application software including all interfaces necessary to assure a high value widely accessible comprehensive integrated information network which meets customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Meet with personnel from user departments Information Services staff and vendors to define and resolve application system problems as they pertain to patient monitoring systems.
Modify maintain and add value to existing software via maintenance releases utilities from vendor and creative use of available Information Services resources to enhance the usefulness of the information system to the organization.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Equivalent to Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field required.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
